⁵ for our ^(A)gospel did not come to you in word only, but also ^(B)in power and in the Holy Spirit and with ^(C)full assurance; just as you know ^(D)what kind of men we ^[a]proved to be among you for your sake. ⁶ You also became ^(E)imitators of us and of the Lord, ^(F)having received ^(G)the word in much affliction with the ^(H)joy of the Holy Spirit, ⁷ so that you became a model to all the believers in ^(I)Macedonia and in ^(J)Achaia.
